ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED ACTORS OF HIS GENERATION

TV GUIDE (Don Merrill) 19 DECEMBER 1987:
"Enjoy John Ritter as
Harry Hooperman while you can. He's too fine a performer and, from what we read in interviews, too serious about acting to confine his talent to half-hour television shows much longer"

This is not an official site, but I am proud to say that these pages were viewed by Mr Ritter several years ago and received his resounding approval

I am thrilled to tell you that I had the pleasure of meeting John in person in June 2000 (see below!) and he was absolutely charming. He truly was a delight, distributing hugs and autographs, posing happily for photographs, and appeared genuinely touched that my husband and I had travelled all the way from England to see him in Washington DC. He spoke to us as if we were friends, not just 'fans'...generously sharing his time with us. This wonderful man was a star in every way, and one who really appreciated his fans.
